Who can benefit from Pillow?
If you are a Multi-Family Property Owner or Manager with buildings that have 5 or more individual units, and you want to easily facilitate Short Term Rentals, then Pillow will give you visibility and control over those activities.
How much does it cost?
After each completed reservation in your property, you’ll receive a percentage of the revenue less the implementation, Booking Service and Pillow Operational fees.
Are guests background checked?
All guests who book through Vrbo or HomeAway are required to complete a background screening to determine their eligibility to stay at the property. Depending on the results of the background check, we reserve the right to cancel a guest's reservation to ensure the safety and security of our resident hosts.
Guests who book through Airbnb are subject to their policies regarding background checks, which can be found here
What controls do I get?
Currently, you can determine the number of total booked nights per month or per calendar year that your Residents are allowed to accept. You also have the ability to determine the Security Deposit on every listing as well as your Community’s General Rules (Pets Allowed, Smoking Allowed, and Parties Allowed). You can control all of these under “Guidelines” on your Community Manager Dashboard.
How can I know which Guests are staying on my property?
On your Community Manager Dashboard, you will see two sections: “ONSITE” and “UPCOMING”. Clicking the “ONSITE” tab will show you all of the Guests and Pillow Pros who are currently onsite at your property. By clicking the plus, you will see the details of the Guest Reservation - their Name, HomeAway/Vrbo/Airbnb Guest Profile link, and their Reservation Details (including the Resident who is their Host).
Can I manage my Corporate or Furnished Units with Pillow?
Absolutely. The Pillow Platform allows you to list your Corporate Unit on HomeAway and Vrbo and manage it all within your Community Manager Dashboard. You’ll be able to manage each unit’s availability, pricing, and length of stay as well as communicate with Guests that book those units.
